Industrial Narrow-Band Radio Frequency Gateway

ModProBus NB842 Radio Frequency Gateway products are radio modems designed for data collection, wireless communication, and remote I/O applications in various industries. They provide stable wireless communication 24/7, ensuring secure transmission in licensed communication bands using AES256 encryption. These radio modems enable communication between industrial devices that support the Modbus protocol, such as machines, PLCs, HMI panels, and industrial sensors, through RS485 and Ethernet communication ports. Additionally, they are equipped with a built-in WiFi module for easy configuration and integration into backup wireless local networks. They reduce the reliance on external controllers by supporting automatic data collection and a simplified rule engine. With a built-in I/O module that supports Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU, they offer an excellent solution for remote I/O applications.

Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU Supported I/O Unit

ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway can be used as a radio frequency remote I/O hardware, in addition to enabling wireless communication between industrial equipment, thanks to its built-in I/O units that support Modbus protocols.

Automatic Data Collection

ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway can collect data at user-defined intervals from different ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway devices, or devices such as PLCs and Modbus sensors connected to these devices via radio frequency. Optionally, it can transfer this data to third-party software using the MQTT protocol.

Modbus Master & Slave Support

ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway can collect data from various devices with its Modbus Master feature, and can also be used as a gateway or remote I/O unit with Modbus Slave support.

Simplified Rule Engine Support

ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway automatically collects data from user-defined devices and performs basic mathematical operations on this data. It can write the results of these operations on itself or on another ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway. This enables actions such as activating a digital output in a different location based on a digital input signal or transmitting data from a PLC to a remote HMI panel.

Communication Range Up to 30 km

ModProBus NB842 RF Gateway allows the creation of wireless coverage in remote areas thanks to its high-frequency stability radio frequency hardware.
