Edge Pro LTE8421 4G IoT Gateway is a 4G IoT Gateway designed for industrial IoT solutions. Thanks to its quick and easy installation. It provides rapid integration into IoT applications and guarantees uninterrupted operation with its automatic reconnection feature even in case of temporary disconnections. With its advanced input/output features, it facilitates wireless communication between Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU supported units and industrial equipment. In addition, thanks to the LTE Cat 1 module optimized for M2M and IoT applications, it reaches 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink data transfer rates. Also, offers flexible communication using 2G or 4G networks. Edge Pro LTE8421 optimizes data collection and analysis processes with automatic data collection and simplified rules engine support. With its compliance with industrial standards and wide operating temperature range, it provides reliable and effective performance in various industrial environments.

4G and 2G GSM Communication

It has 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink wireless communication with LTE Cat 1 module. It provides flexible communication network with 2G or 4G networks.

Simplified Rule Engine Support

The 4G IoT Gateway performs basic mathematical operations by automatically collecting data from devices identified by users. It can transmit these results to other devices. Thus controlling remote devices and transferring data.

The 4G IoT Gateway is designed for easy assembly and installation. So, it can be quickly integrated into IoT applications. 4G and 2G GSM Communication

EdgePro LTE8421 can support wireless communication at up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink data transfer rates with the LTE Cat 1 module it uses, which is optimized for M2M and IoT applications. Additionally, it can use 2G or 4G networks depending on the area of use in the industrial environment.

Modbus TCP/IP, MQTT and Modbus RTU Supported Input/Output Unit

EdgePro LTE8421 has embedded I/O units that support Modbus protocols. In this way, it can provide wireless communication between industrial equipment. It can also be used as a remote input/output unit with cellular communication.

Automatic Data Collection

EdgePro LTE8421 collects data from other EdgePro LTE 8421 devices, PLCs, cellular-connected Modbus sensors at user-defined intervals. Optionally, it transmits this data to third-party software using the MQTT protocol.

Modbus Master & Slave Support

EdgePro LTE8421 can collect data from various devices thanks to the Modbus Master feature. In addition, it can be used as a gateway or as a remote Input/Output unit thanks to Modbus Slave support.

Simplified Rules Engine Support

EdgePro LTE8421 automatically collects data from user-defined devices. Also, performs basic mathematical operations on this data. It writes the results of these operations to the device itself or other EdgePro LTE8421 devices. This feature allows digital output activation based on a digital input at a different location. Or it enables data transfer from PLC to remote HMI panel.

IEC62056-21 Mode C Support (Optional)

EdgePro LTE8421 can be used in smart meter readings thanks to its IEC62056-21 Mode C support over RS232. It records the values it reads from electricity meters into Modbus registers. It can also transmit this data to third-party software using the MQTT protocol.
