What is ModProBus GPRS Modem?

 

ModProBus GPRS is a wireless automation modem developed for automation systems.

ModProBus GPRS modem transfers data between devices without distance limitation over its RS485 communication port. Thus, Modbus RTU devices can be connected wirelessly to the controller units. ModProBus GPRS modem integrates 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs optionally. Integrated inputs and outputs can be accessed directly using Modbus RTU and TCP/IP protocols. Thus, ModProBus GPRS can be used for I/O control in automation projects, it full fills the requirement of additional I/O module. Inputs and outputs ports on the Modem can be monitored and controlled via SCADA, PLC or HMI panels.
